Is that 37.7 feet really true, or is it a joke? I have no idea. If it is true, how do you calculate it?

It's really true.
Circumference of Earth: C=2πr [Circumference equals 2 times pi times radius] Circumference of track of six foot tall man's head circumnavigating Earth: C=2π(r+6) Subtract the former from the latter and you get the further (f): 2π(r+6)-2πr=f Expand the equation, you get: 2πr +12π -2πr=12π=12(3.1416)=37.7' further Unclerube: Maybe he hits a timewarp along the way.
