The same error is present on the Four Base Hits card. It also depicts Billy Sunday, but names Daily.

Good thread Mark, there are other errors as well by A. Beck & Co. and SGC alike. This is not Lady Baldwin; doesn't look much like Mark "Fido" Baldwin either.
![]() I suspect it is a member of the Chicago team but not sure who. Will start studying the clean-shaven members.

Yes indeed, I didn't have a copy of that cabinet on my hard drive to reference. Do you know the photographer and date of photo? (just curious)
Thanks !

Thanks Mark, so it looks like a majority of the photographic images used in the set originate from Stevens Studio (Chicago) and Joseph Wood (New York). I'm surprised how many of the 1886 Joseph Wood photos of the two New York Clubs (Giants & Mets) are found in the set. The Mets would disband before Yum Yums were issued but the 1886 "Spotted Ties" are abundant with the updated team present (based on where the players wound up).
