I thought that I would fish for some information, so I asked that question at the bottom. I followed it up with another question...Did he feel that this was one of the three or four rare Doyle error cards that had been graded by PSA?
His response: Dear Ron: Well, I show a close up view of the card and to me it looks like PSA over looked the area of interest. In the eyes of PSA it is not the error card but there is still a chance it could be. I am sure it will sell next Sunday. Thank you, Mike V. It sounds to me like he is well aware of what he is selling, but hoping that the bidding gets out of control somewhere along the way. The $329,000 title is certainly misleading hype. I guess he feels that the close-up view somehow justifys the questionable description. |
