Here's some pic's of my basement family room.
Trae, be careful! It won't take long for the sun to fade the backs of those cards on your window sill. Dan |

All, great looking displays, love it. Dan I really like how you have yours recessed into the wall. Very classy and clean.

I went to lunch today and then wandered into a Michaels store next door to look for a picture frame for my house. This "float frame" caught my eye and I instantly thought of putting baseball cards in it. I brought it back to work and used some T206 reprints that I had in my drawer (the Indianapolis team set).
This frame comes in black or wood (I thought the black would look nice with the cards). Anyway, it's just a quick and easy way to put up some cards you want to display. I decided to put it on top of my cabinet (first shot) after initially hanging it on my office wall (second shot). The shot with the white background is the frame on my desk, just to get a closer look at it without the glare of the lights. Thanks. |

Here's a quick shot of a few of the T206 frames I have. Had them made about 2 years ago, posted them awhile back.

I wholeheartedly agree; the recessed displays are such a beautiful way of making use of existing vertical space. ---Brian Powell

Like Wow! Super nice looking displays! Most of my main cards are in a safe deposit box. I am so worried about sunlight and other possible damage due to who knows what, that I rarely see the stuff. I think I am missing out.

I bought my house last year and I'm just NOW trying to get my man-cave up and running. It's more like a mess right now, but I got one corner started - if anything I need more furniture like cabinets as I have a ton more stuff that I'm afraid won't fit in my cave as I'm fairly certain I'm running out of wall space haha:
![]() The black bat is auto'd by Ken Griffey Jr, the blonde is auto'd by Duke Snider and the Princeton Pennant that you see on the right, I recently picked up at a flea market for $3 - it's amazing how the original owner made it - has original newspaper clips from back in the day as the background. ![]() The two USA Jersey's are auto'd by Jenny Finch ![]() ![]() ![]()

Not really a set collector just love certain cards.
I know its not a pretty photo but tried to take it with a panorama app on my phone and it turned out kind of bent. |
