Here is my Mantle/Yankees shelf with Mantle Hartland, MIckey Mantle Board Game, Mickey Mantle inspired tin action toy, and Yankees team signed ball including Mantle.

Not for nothing Ben, but I LOVE that Mantle GPC. I can imagine the young rookie sitting on the stool in his locker, reading fan mail and just sending his John Hancock to his ever growing legion of excited fans. Maybe something like this...

Thanks Graig...what are you doing up at 2am?? You signing autographs for fans too???? This photo of the Mick you posted is KILLER. A type 1 would sure go nicely with the GPC.

Hah!! If I were up late signing autographs, then the world would be coming to an end, my friend.

I agree with you on the photo though, it's absolutely killer. I'm actually doing a painting of it as we speak!! It's the first time I've ever tried to tackle a photograph that's been taken with a flash, so I'm trying to figure out the way I want to handle it in the end...hopefully it will yield some good results!
