I think I was lucky to get this one. Not exactly rare, but you don't really see a whole lot of them either. I guess they just don't get transacted much. This one certainly won't be! :-)

Default 1888 KIMBALL's (Factory # 649)....show us your N184 cards

Joann

Thanks for posting your Annie Oakley. I often see her Allen & Ginter (N28) card....here is mine.
I seldom see her Kimball's card.

Your Dell Darling is absolutely the nicest Kimball's BB player card that I've seen.

The only one I've had that approaches yours is James O'Neil.

Thanks for posting it here.

Best regards,

Default 1888 Kimball's

Some years ago I obtained a Kimball's full pack and opened it. No luck..it contains a Butterfly card. A yellow paper (ad? - coupon?) separates the card from the cigarettes. I did not remove that paper for fear that I would not be able to reinsert it without damaging the loose tobacco cigarettes.

Ted, glad you like it.
Here is my Tip O'Neil (O'Neill), it presents well but is trimmed
As you know he's the biggest star of the 4 Baseball subjects
so I'm glad to have it. He hit .435 during the '87 season when the card was produced.

Your O'Neil beats mine (trimmed, notwithstanding). Do you also have E. A. Burch ?

Then we would have at least accounted for the four BB cards in the Kimball's set.

Thanks for posting your O'Neil ("Tip" O'Neill).

Obviously not a card and I don't know if it had anything to do with the cards, but here's a period Kimball's tobacco jar.
