Ted- you could never factor in an 18 1/2% buyer's premium and end up with round numbers. They would all be crooked (pun not intended).

Leon - as long as you are holding the drink tickets for next year's national, I would never do anything to upset you.

Regarding T card scarcity, I would think there are also fewer T214 cards known to exist for each player than T208s. Is my thinking in error?

The E98 Brown price is abnormal and ridiculous.

That's not a tough card and it's a 4 not an 8. If two people were bidding, what were both of them thinking?

Val -

I believe you are correct. Any specific T214 Victory card is probably scarcer than any specific T208 Fireside.

ie: There are less T214 Victory Hal Chases than T208 Fireside Chief Benders.

There are several T sets where this is the case (each individual player is scarcer or equally as scarce as T208 individual players)

Default re..T208 set total $$$$$$

OK guys, I should have realized that the even #s implied the actual final bids. Notwithstanding, their claim next
to their numbers, "Includes Buyers Premium"......I guess, my bad.

I see they finally updated their numbers to include the Buyers Premium

Nevertheless, I was really more interested in the actual bids realized and the sum for the entire set of 18 cards.
At 158.3K, it appears that it went for less than most expected.

Regards,

TED Z

How in the heck can one find those cards in the auction? I have Searched T208, Tinker, and several other combinations & nothing comes up?

I don't want to scroll thru the whole darn auction to find them, but I would like to take a look at those cards!

Make sure you change the drop down box to "Title and Description" when you do your search for T208.

Default T208 set cards

The t208 cards start at lot #165 (to #182). Here's the link to the starting lot (Eddie Plank), then advance to the others,
as they are listed sequentially.
