Polo Grounds: Seems O/T But It's Really Not
I just saw in the local paper that Sportsnet NY, the Mets and Jets TV channel, is running a program every Thursday in the offseason called Mets Yearbook, which runs old promotional short films from the 60's and 70's. Now I realize the Mets are post war in the extreme but there is one installment, many here might like to watch, namely the 1963 film that has extensive color footage of the Polo Grounds.
Judging by the schedule the 63 yearbook will not air until December but the schedule for Dec. should be up soon: http://web.sny.tv/index.jsp
