Any 1970 or especially 1971 carries a huge premium in a 9 because of the full bleed color borders.

Yeah, I understand that, but I was referring to cards like:

'75 Brett rookie and Yount Rookie
'73 Schmidt Rookie

and so on...

Default Top Cards of 1970-1975?...Hmmm

Listed by year, here's a stab at my Top 15, using "Coolness" as the criteria, not dollar value.
1970 Johnny Bench (own)
1970 Reggie Jackson
1970 Lou Brock

1971 Thurman Munson
1971 Pete Rose

1972 Willie Mays (own)

1973 Mike Schmidt (own)
1973 Johnny Bench

1974 Dave Winfield (own)
1974 Reggie Jackson
1974 Dwight Evans
1974 Mike Schmidt

1975 George Brett (own)
1975 Pete Rose
1975 Dave Winfield (own)

Looks like I have purchases to make!

Default Clarify?

Could you clarify what the question is? Top 20 in terms of value if graded high? Top 20 cards that are just quintessential? Top 20 cards that sell well (raw), etc...?? Our just favorite top 20?? Thanks. Not that this will shock anyone, but Nolan Ryan cards especially early ones actually sell very close to book unlike 95% of others...
