My feeling is that the mitt is somewhere in between. It's too big for a true kid's size and smaller than the large adult size. Junior or amateur size would probably be the most appropriate designation, something most likely for use by high school players. It's an interesting mix of features versus cost saving construction. Great looking mitt.

Default Christmas is coming early for me!

Signed & dated 1958 in ballpoint pen by Teddy Ballgame is this superb vintage original 1954 TYPE I photograph by one of the finest post-war photographers, Don Wingfield.
