As soon as I saw your image, before I read your text, I said that looks like a second generation photograph. You do see them occasionally in connection with Horner American League composites. As far as the date of 1913, I've never heard that cited before and would want to know how someone came up with it.
To answer your question is it a genuine second generation photo, I would have to see it in person to make that determination. But if it came from a Hunt Auction and was identified as such, I would feel very confident it is correct. |
