at least they went off the beaten path with those cards..........probably a slightly smarter than normal crook. People are always looking for the fake Mantles and fake Wagners. The cabinets were a little out of the norm...........

Steve- it wouldn't be the first time. But in that instance they came to me. I just had to walk down the street.
 And those cards are of course obvious fakes.

Found all (3) pics at Legendary's back auction archives.........likely what the scammer did too............fakes look REALLY washed out and you can't see the bezel of the cardboard mount on them either............. Last edited by autograf; 10-20-2009 at 11:24 AM.
