Congrats Tim! Awesome set to complete and filled with those "5" and above toughies from the rarity scale! Looks like the Coveleskie is a "6" which is very scarce. Nice job.

Congrats to the Timster! :-)
I'm glad the Coveleskie fell your way. One of these days collectors will learn to appreciate how beautiful the M116 set is and how tough it is to finish a set. I have had more satisfaction and enjoyment with my T207 and M116 sets than any sets I own. Both undervalued, both underappreciated, both great sets.
See you in Baltimore!
Bob M.

Undervalued Bob? Not sure I can agree with you there, but maybe after I finish both sets I'll be onboard.

Rob-- yes, in Bob's world sets immediately become undervalued at the moment you complete them ... actually, in my world too

Thanks for all your encouragement, guys-- I know posts like this are sort of vanity posts, but every once in a while everybody deserves a little of that, I guess.

Bob and Tim,

When did you guys start your M116 sets? I remember buying a couple about 10 years ago off of ebay and thinking that they were so cheap that there must be something wrong with them.

Bob, what were the last few cards you needed for your set?

Also, do you guys collect the blue backgrounds or just have player sets?

Anyone else out there collecting this set?

Rob
