1916 Zeenut Billy Southworth

I am relatively new to zeenuts...but a southworth collector. I didn't know if it was the Southworth or other HOF'ers that caused the tremendous run up in prices. Sorry to see it go so high Congrats to winner.

Agree with Cat, at those prices, the cards were not purchased for investment or to flip but instead to fill a major hole(s) in someone's collection. When was the last time you saw a Zeenut Southworth or 22 Lazzeri for sale/auction?

Edited to add: My '29 Zeenuts Ernie Lombardi has been sitting over in the B/S/T for three days at a measely asking price of $350.00 without even one inquiry. Where are the big spenders when you need them?
