Here are a few things from the Left Coast version of the Dodgers. It's amazing how much great oddball Dodgers stuff was created in the late 50s and early 60s ...

I don't get to post much on this board, but I got one for this thread. Picked this up at the National last week.

Hard to settle on a superlative for those tour of Japan slides. They're simply beautiful. Looks like Graig painted 'em.

Here's a cool little item, a circa 1959-65 14K Gold Dodgers Tie Bar that was most likely given out as employee gifts after a championship season.

Wow... what a thread! Something tells me this one will go forever. I have way too many to photograph/post, but will throw up a few items which I've already saved to this computer.
Here are some Pennants.... The Batter pennant is modeled after Ruth (and dates to the mid-1930s period in which he joined Brooklyn). Interestingly, there was a Yankees Pennant with the same exact graphic (formerly in REA). The Jackie Robinson is an extremely rare variation The 1952 Scroll Pennant is a somewhat rare phantom.... |

More of my "junk"... although the 1940s Ceramic Bum will be in Hunts' September I/P Auction.
Also, the larger Jackie Robinson Pin now belongs to Mike P. of our forum- thanks to a great trade! Last edited by perezfan; 08-05-2009 at 07:48 PM. |
