Shouldn't be as tough as it is but all those horizontal collector guys have made them scarce.

T205 Ty Cobb w/ an American Beauty back. Seen on on Ebay and missed the sale because of work. Graded by PSA as a 4. Would pay dearly for it

Amen Bob on that Halla. I missed out on at least three of them over the last few years that were priced relatively reasonably. Best looking pre-war card of all time...IMHO.

An affordable 1869 Cincinnati Reds Peck and Snyder. And no, $20,000 is NOT affordable! Maybe for a new car, but not for a piece of cardboard. Not yet, anyway.

David, it does exist. I used to own one but believe it now resides in JC's collection (what's left of it).

Jay-

Thank you so much for reaching out. That's a lovely Ferguson cabinet! There are a number of non-OJ cabinets of Ferguson that I've seen pictures of, but haven't seen available for trade/sale anywhere.

That post about a Ferguson cabinet was made in 2009. Eight years later, I was able to pick up this beauty and add to my collection

Am delighted I was able to cross off that White Whale from my want list.

My next one may be a bit harder. I think I've now got a desire for a KBats Harry Wright

The 4 Gibson UNC Candy Cards, but lately this 1904 Montreal Royals PC... does it even exist? (i'd take it in regular photo form also)

Interesting that this thread pops back up 10 years later. The white whale I was searching for I landed just a few weeks ago. I don’t know exactly how long I had been searching for it but this thread is 9 or 10 years old now and according to my post I had been searching for years without luck.

Default '14 CJ Cobb

Landed in November 2018. Never thought I'd own such a nice copy (the grade is laughable)
