Speaking of flipping....I am noticing that the majority of the cards in the current Memory Lane auction have been sold in the Dec '08 Memory Lane auction....if one were to flip, shouldn't they wait longer than 7 months, and shouldn't they pick a totally different auction house altogether??? I see some Red Mans someone paid alot of money for that aren't anywhere near the Dec '08 selling price....seems like a good way to lose your shirt.....

And how many of the cards that just sold will we see again soon one wonders, even though they are all great guys?

But don't forget: even the great guys who badmouth other great guys in public as being bad guys are still great guys.

Why is it that only the great guys with allegations of fraud in their pasts think that all the other shady guys are great guys?

Maybe Memory Lane, as great as they are, had several buyers renege.

Boy can it ever be frustrating to run an auction! And to think not too long ago those guys stayed up all night, until 9 AM the next morning to make sure all collectors got their bids in. Besides being the fastest growing auction house in the hobby they very well could be the greatest too.

I am absolutely NOT starting a grading company bashing thread here but I do wish PSA would have graded those Frederick Fotos correctly. I spoke with a gentleman, from Memory Lane, on the phone about them and I don't think they should have gotten numerical grades (at a minimum)....Too bad to.....

Well this is the same great company who got PSA to recertify cards that did not sell in a previous auction so they could be sold in a subsequent auction in an attempt to not be noticed as repeats.

Joe, the rantings of a few folks on a message board or two does not affect the great guys one bit.
