There were amazing cards available--almost as if some of the dealers opened their vaults and brought out their prized cards. I saw three T204 square frames, and a T204 of Burkett in a PSA 5 holder. The great cards available go on and on. I picked up a number of Obaks and Zeenuts, but felt these two were my best acquisitions of the show. Enjoy.
Cheers, Mike PS--How intresting would it be to have been the Captain of the Gay Base Ball team?! Last edited by Michael Peich; 08-01-2009 at 08:41 PM. |

![]() ![]() Headed to this year's National with 5 cards needed for my T205 base set. I was hoping to find at least one, maybe two. Was on cloud nine when I was able to land these 4, leaving just Tyrus. (nothing like saving the big boys for the end.) But the highlight of the event, for me, was finally getting to meet Matt and Turner Engle. They really helped getting me going on the set and have provided so much direction along the way. I wonder exactly how many cards in my set went through their hands at one time? (I'm pretty sure at least 2 of the above did). Thanks guys...see you in Baltimore. My favorite pickup (the E90-1 Matty wasn't bad either). Anyone care to guess who the signers are and what the item was?
