Sorry Brian (and Steve) - I didn't mean to make it seem like I was holding back. Right now I don't know. I have a good clear identified images for Cle AL 1910 and 1911 - including a lot of identified spring training prospects. I don't see the guy in any of those.

At this point I would guess that he is either a 1908 or 1909 player (they are 1908 uni's) that only appeared in a relatively few games, or a prospect that never made the roster (or a coach or trainer). I'll dig around and see what I can find.

BTW - great photo! The lack of ID's in SABR's Deaball Stars of the Am Lg was a subject of very contentious criticism within SABR when the book was released. IMO - the research for getting the ID's should have been done.

This is my first post in the new forum. (Can I still call it new?) I have been absent from posting for several months, but was still looking every once in a while. Below is my most recent pickup. I was very excited to get it and I thought now was as good a time as any to start posting into Net 54.

I just picked this up last week. The cleanest 1914 cracker jack I've seen since the near perfect set of 1914's walked into the Cleveland National a few years ago. Not one drop of caramel stain.

Default Picked up a nice T206 McLean

Decided to grab a nice BIN on eBay for a McLean T206. I had sold a lesser condition one years ago. Now I have all the catchers with masks on in the T206 set again.

The late Randy Stuckemeyer (RIP my friend) had a set of 1914's that was off the charts condition-wise. It is thought that that particular set was a factory one...and I am pretty sure there are a few more cards from 1914 that have been found that were thought not to have been put in with the Cracker Jacks themselves either. Almost all of them could only be had in the boxes hence the normal staining. It's actually a cause for alarm when one doesn't have staining (not a guarantee of an issue but certainly something to look at closer)....regards
