Ditto. The only time I end up in that kicking myself mode is when the auction is live.

Every day!!! But, if I won everything I bid on, my happy home would probably belong to somebody other than me! I am having a blast cherry-picking, or low-balling if you will. Every win seems a little sweeter.

I think it is a tie between bidding not enough and bidding more then I should have on an item.
It all balances out, right?

I used to kick myself for not placing a high enough bid. Now I either bid the max I am willing to pay for something I want or set a snipe for that max amount and if I win, then great, and if I lose, I can care less . . . it just leaves me with more money for something else.

I bid what I bid -- and I factor in just about everything into what I bid.
If I win; great -- if not; oh well. Rich |

you said: "...and I factor in just about everything into what I bid"
We should exchange our valuation models! How do you factor in the differential between the ambient air temperature in the target item's location, and the following week's humidity and pollen forecasts for your hometown? I've found there to be an inverse relationship between that differential and the amount of cat hair I usually find within the packaging upon opening, but I have great difficulty measuring the magnitude with any predictive power of significance.
