I agree with the others. Phenomenal painting, puts some of the paintings I have done to shame. You have some genuine talent there.

In addition to the aforementioned NY patch, you really nailed the hair, the fall of the cap and the folds in the fabric of his jersey above the belt. Sensational realism.

He was also a pretty good trapshooter (promotional photo for some type of Gun he was plugging in the 1910's).

Also, add my sentiments to those already shared about the painting. You did a wonderful job and the jersey patch is what I first noticed as well. That is a great painting!

Truly amazing work Graig. It really looks like you can reach out and feel the texture of his jersey and the NY patch on his sleeve. Almost unspeakably beautiful. Seriously.
