Default For the Yiddish challenged

"lonsman" or "lansman" means literally "countryman" and colloquially means another Jew, usually from the same town or province in the old country. It is used as a term of trust or familiarity.

I know just one of the answers, does that mean I get a $100
And I too would like to know some of the answers and the stories behind it
would make for a good read.
