My parents met on the U of Michigan campus and were married in Ann Arbor.
The Chicago address doesn't have a 5 digit zip code, and the 5 digit zip code was introduced in 1962-3. This would support, if not prove, the banner being from before then. Last edited by drc; 06-01-2009 at 02:55 AM. |

I just posted a scan of some Life magazines that I found at a garage sale the other day on the pickup thread. The magazines were 1957 to 1967. They have some really nice articles along with some great pictures of Mantle, Clemente & Yaz to name a few. Jantz |

That is a sweet looking U of M banner, nice find. I used to find some cool stuff at the Saline antique/flea market back in the day. Haven't been back since I bolted AA 15+ years ago unfortunately...

Perhaps you want to clear up that by "AA" you meant Anne Arbor, and not Alcoholics Anonymous? (Or perhaps you don't.) |
