I meant to post this in response to your initial inquiry.
I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but a very affordable example of a 1930s panoramic photo is one of the 1936 Cleveland Indians (shown below). It was issued by one of the Cleveland newspapers (I'm going from memory and think it was the Press.) It's not a real-photo example, but it is vintage. I don't have an extra one right now, but they do turn up fairly regularly. And you often can pick one up for less than $100. I'm very happy with how mine looks matted and framed.
