I have sold tech for almost 20 yrs and still don't know what the heck I am doing

And I don't have a site with images. How can I create an avitar?

Rich: you can upload an avatar so long as it is under 19kb. If you have an image you want to reduce, even something simple like Microsoft Photo Editor should be able to help you shrink it down to acceptable size.

You can upload a scan from your computer, just click on user cp, use custom avatar, and choose option 2 to upload a scan from your computer. Hope this helps.
