John -

I loathe Larry Corcoran so much, I considered cutting his page out of my copy of the new OJ book. Then I thought that that might be disrespectful to Jay, Richard, Joe, so I didn't. Then I realized that you wrote the Corcoran biography, so it was a no-brainer.

I never realized how evil this board is. Fred,I was almost 3 months old when Hoffa "disappeared" and living in Kearny,NJ not far from the NY Giants end zone that hes buried in....thats all I'm saying

Jerry, that's a nice card. As long as Fred doesn't have it,it's okay. If you ever want to sell it you know where to find me

Bill, you can tear out that page all you want, its programmed to regenerate itself. There is also a hidden message in the biography warning people not to buy his N172 cards. I don't touch any of those other sets he's in,can't people just buy those? Don't you think his N167,N175 and K-Bats cards are nicer!

Yes, Anonymous, it's the Giants. Which reminds me of another thing I hate:

3. Being out of the pennant race by June.

I agree with Al,

The radical left and all the long-term damage they are inflicting on our country.

In addition to his list (I concur on every one), I would add

Keith Olbermann

Rachel

Obama

Maxine

I'll stop at 4.

I hate people who stop in front of me and wait for the guy loading groceries in his car so they can get his spot in the #2 parking slot - all while the #4 spot is open. I guess they can't walk the extra eight feet.

I also hate anybody who uses the middle urinal while I'm on the edge...is it really that difficult to figure out the rules?

I'm also not too happy about the guy who decided there should be so many Cobb cards in the T202 set. Not that it needs any more Chief Meyers cards, but how about some guys from the Browns or something to make it more affordable?

And Gene Keady's hair, even if he isn't there anymore...

Take Care,
Geno

The radical right and all the damage it's already inflicted on the country.

Including, but certainly not limited to ...

Dick Cheney

Karl Rove

Donald Rumsfeld and his invisible Weapons of Mass Destruction

and, of course

GEORGE W. ("NOO-CU-LER") BUMBLE

The hole dug by these treacherous men is so deep we will never climb out.

I'm not sure I can agree about "invisible weapons of mass destruction." Ask the Kurds in Halabja - Saddam killed 5000 instantly and probably another 10K over the years in a chemical weapon attack. That's way more than 9/11, which I would also call mass destruction. I would call Saddam a WMD, whether you agree with the war or not...

Enough politics...I also hate football overtime along with the two-point conversion. Either one is fine, but not both. Make 'em go for it!

And that blue turf in Idaho...

Take Care,

I'm not a picky eater, but for some reason cilantro just puts me off. I will actually sit there and try to pick it out of whatever I'm eating. If there is the tiniest tidge of cilantro in whatever I'm eating, I will instantly know it.

And basil is my favorite herb. I know - so common.

Seeing the last vestiges of Shea Stadium getting hammered by the wrecking ball. My best childhood memories (and adult memories for that matter) were created there. It was my Elysian Fields. I was 9 in 1969 ... it didn't get any better than that!

Daryl -- you're right, Lynyrd Skynyrd is from Jacksonville, Florida. Although they did record in Alabama at Muscle Shoals. I remember when the country group Alabama was first starting out, people at their shows would request the song "Sweet Home Alabama," but they would decline to play it, preferring to stick with their own material.

- Motorcycles with absurdly loud mufflers (Dude, why does everyone within a six block radius need to know you're going somewhere?)

- teaching someone how to play cribbage and then losing to them the very first game they play because they draw double-doubles every frickin' hand (this happens WAY to often)

- Two of the five voices in my head (the other three are generally agreeable and quite mellifluous)

- The dismaying trend of special effects trumping plot and character development in movies.

- Vince from Shamwow. It's a frickin' towel, dude.

- The fact that "trepidacious" isn't a word (it should be, it's the logical extension of trepidation, right?)

- Tommy Lasorda/ The Dodgers

- People that insinuate you're not a real fan if you leave in the bottom of the 7th when your team is down 14-2. This isn't jury duty and I'm not paying $9 for my next beer.

- Those people that order one cup of coffee at Starbucks and then monopolize a table for the next 5 hours (I just want to read the paper for 10 minutes, this isn't the Oklahoma land rush)

- Athletes referring to themselves in the 3rd person (Schizophrenia is treatable)

- The fact that Cal hasn't been to The Rose Bowl since Charlemagne.
