Habana and Almendares were two professional baseball clubs in Havana, and were referred to as the "Eternal Rivals". A "Habanista" is a supporter/fan of the Habana ball club and an "Almendarista" is a supporter of Almendares. The place was baseball crazy and the rivalry bitter, so it spawned much memorabilia like this. |
