Not to beat a dead horse, but Dan is right about the value of your Chambersburg piece and just because you paid more for it than the FMV, does not make it worth that on the open market. I have owned several Chambersburg photos as well as literally thousands of minor league photos from this area (player and teams) which are earlier and nicer than yours as well as hundreds of other minor league cabinets and team photos and if your photo brought more than $200 in an auction I would be shocked. If it is worth more than that to you, that is great and there is nothing wrong with buying what you like, but this is an area where I can asure you that I have more experience than you and it is about a $200 photo or less. |
