Posted By: Paul The borders do look a little small, but the corners look ok from what I can tell from only a scan. I think its ok. |

Posted By: Paul I did agree that the borders look small, but the American Caramel Co is not known for its cutting precision! |

Posted By: Scott Dango those familiar with this series know sometimes the top and lower border have angle cuts, but those usually are more "oversized" card instead of undersized "trimmed" cards... |

Posted By: Paul I agree that the borders look narrow, & that the e90-1 micsuts are usually top/bottom borders. I just think the corners on the Lajoie look like natural wear. Like I mentioned its hard to tell without having the card in hand. Also, I think Bob & the crew at SGC are pretty good at spotting trims. Sure, I could be wrong, maybe SGC messed up, but I think its probably ok IMHO. |

Posted By: Mr. Moses I am definitely adding the Lajoie e90-1 to my "special" subset of cards I love - unless perhaps there are other cards with the same pose and coloration for him? Appreciate the help if it comes.... |

Posted By: Paul S This has been in my possession about 40 years, unholdered then as now. Except for the tracheotomy(sp?) they are really alike. What would be the odds of that if one or both were trimmed? |

Posted By: leon Thanks for posting that Lajoie. To my eyes yours has a much bigger border, l-r, than the one being asked about...but maybe it's just me? |

Posted By: leon Maybe it's the positioning of the specific card ie.. where it was located, when the sheets were cut, that give certain players thinner borders, left to right? I do like some of the more scarce e90-1's.... |

Posted By: Paul Kaufman Some cards in this set are commonly seen with thin cuts L-R, the Baker and Marquard cards being two that are often found this way. As was mentioned, whenever you have "wide" cards, you will have complementary "thin" ones as well. I believe SGC looks pretty closely at these before grading them. |
