I guess it would have to be my '33 Goudey Ruth. When I first went to look at this gentleman's cards, I expected Topps cards from the '50's. I was floored when I saw the Goudey's, didn't really know anything about them but there were around 140 from '33 along with some other issues of the same time period. It was a few years later when he passed away that his son sold them to me. That's when the vintage bug bit me!! |
