Are you serious? You didn't enjoy the Ritter book as much as the James? If so, that's too bad, but we're all entitled to our opinions.

I love both of those books nearly equally, but for different reasons. There were many great biographical tidbits in the Abstract , but much of the SABRmetrics really holds no appeal to me. I'll take baseball's human side over its statistics any day. That's where the personalities and hearts are.
