Why would you think it is a proof? Does the card have a blank back? Or does it have printers cross hash marks on the edges? |

i think SGC got it right, that is not an E90-1 you can see by the borders... the e90-1 have a bigger lower border and this would be a trimmed e90-1 if it were that.... |

the card has faded crosses on the top and one side. i don't know what to look for i saw these faded crosses on the card and the other e90-1 i have do not. |

i've never seen this on a pre ww1 card befor it has the cross hashes on one side and the top they look like faded crosses if anyone knows any thing about this please let me know. and does the proofs have any more market value? |

thats what the card looks like thanks for the info on the card and thats what my card looks like but a different side thanks. if anyone can help me find low grade e90-1 for my set let me know prefer ungraded and if graded lower grades thanks jason |

I always thought that the E90-1 set (like the E94 set) had never had a proof card surface and that, like the McLean shown above, they were blank backed E92s. |

I agree that numerous e90-1 cards can be found with printers hatch marks...there should not be a premium attached to this...nor should it be suggested these are proof cards. |
