someone with the money to spend, just beginning to collect, could see this and want to buy it as soon as possible so nobody else gets it. there are plenty of people to whom $10,000 is nothing, so why not try to take advantage of it if you don't have that money. it's pretty degrading to the seller, but to a lot of people money is more important than dignity because the world we live in allows it to be.
