SGC Grading Submission Question
Posted By: Bob
Hi all. I don't know if this has been asked before but it concerns SGC's policy concerning cross-overs. I have an E98 Cobb in a GAI holder which I would like to cross over but it exceeds the $500 max value set by SGC. Is this policy still in place? Would you think it would be better to roll the dice and crack it out and submit it raw. |

I'm pretty sure they stated their current policy as being willing to attempt a cross-over of any card; the fee would be commensurate with that grading tier if the card was submitted raw; i.e. a $1000 card would be $20. They really should update their website to avoid confusion on this policy. |

Not really, I hope it will be a 40 but it should be at least a 30. I estimated value at $3500 based on recent sales. |

Bob you can cross the card over for $35 if you value it at $3500. I misunderstood you and thought you said $5500 which would be a $50 value. And for the board YES you can cross over ANY card regardless of value you just need to pay the appropriate tier price for the card (if valued over $500). |
