Sportsfest 2008..Anyone attend?

Shows are nonexistent in NYC, but just about every other major city has them. And New York has the Javits Center and loads of hotels.

The excuse is always it's too expensive, but I don't see anything being given away in Chicago or Los Angeles. I think shows will eventually be obsolete.
