Default Question about B/S/T etiquette

Posted By: Rob Ray

Agreed...Someone asked about several NM-mint vintage cards I had posted in BST. I quickly emailed F/B scans, and happily the buyer agreed to buy at my (more than fair) price.
I asked for the buyers' name and address so I could prepare insurance label and package to go out...upon which I didnt hear back from him for about a week.
I finally emailed the buyer, who told me he couldnt pay my price due to personal reasons. He offered less money. Again, this was many days later after I thought it was a done deal.
NO harm done, but if someone CAN'T afford the price listed, they should say that right off the bat,so the seller can either begin haggling...or search for a buyer elsewhere.
It's what I would have done.
