Actually the cards aren't mine they are in an auction now but I spotted them. Didn't notice the consecutive number certs but still I have seen plenty of PSA and SGC mistakes on this set. Everything from labelling Mordecai Brown as "Buster" Brown to very common errors, such as "blue back" when the card has a black back, or "pastel" when the card is easily a blue front or vice-versa. I think one thing which makes so many mislabelling occur is that there is a subset of cards which have blue AND black backs, with most of them having just blue backs. I have seen cards slabbed as "blue back" which never occur with black backs, and lots of "blue backs" when it is the front that is blue. Be careful when you buy these cards in slabs to make sure you are getting what you think you are getting, scans of both sides of the cards is always helpful... |
