if i had 1 mil to blow on cards i wouldn't worry about cards that retained their value. if i have a mil to blow on cards i'm probably not too worried on future returns. i'd pick up the cards i've always wanted, maybe a real nice t227 set or try to put together the allen and ginter sets. i've always loved the artwork for both of those issues. i also would love to put together an m101-4 set. i don't know if there are any completed ones or not but i love that set because it features actual photographs. the one thing i definitely wouldn't do is spend the whole thing on cards i thought someone with a million dollars "should have", i.e. those high dollar t206's or 52 mantles. |
