I admit it. I didn't do it this time. Bob, how much do you think the card would have sold for at auction? |

That sucks. I asked the seller for the team name. Guess I know why he never wrote me back. |

Same seller also ended a few others early, with 8 days to go... |

I would be shocked if that card actually went for $550-650. That seems like a very hefty price, I would expect more in the $250-350 range. |

I was looking forward to bidding on this card as well. It is the exact same copy I sold at the last National. I won't say what I got for it, but I really missed it and I think I could've gotten it back for a bit less this I sold it for. I had had the card for over 15 years. I believe I paid about $50.00 for it originally. Best of luck to whoever "won" it. |

I received a return e-mail this morning from the seller regarding one of the other cards he ended early. He simply stated they'd made some errors in listings and those will be re-listed Sunday. So maybe keep your eyes |

Dave- Some of the listings he ended early had the notation that "seller ended it early because of error in listing," but this particular one had "seller ended because no longer for sale." I had a snipe bid of $509 set if that is any help. It IS one of the toughest (although they are all murder) cards in the set and rarely seen. I noticed that Tony is selling several on ebays and the PSA 1s are going for $400 and the PSA 2s are going for $600 as his asking prices. I sold a GAI 2 and a GAI 3.5 on ebay recently and I don't remember the exact selling amounts but I don't think either cracked $400 and they were both really nice and in my mind undergraded. Maybe the fact they were in GAI holders had something to do with the final total, don't know... |
