The man had probably 20 various T206 cards and wanted $569 for all of them. There were quite a few with Polar Bear backs and only one with Old Mill(which I wanted). Some were Piedmont and Sweet Caporal. So, those are the 5 I picked out I wanted the most. I offered him $100 on the spot for the 5 cards. He didn't want to break them up for some odd reason at first, and only wanted to sell all 20. I wasn't interested as I didn't have the money. Then I got a call from him 2 days later willing to do it, but for $125 and not $100. I really only wanted the Chance card, but I couldn't get him to sell them individually. It is either take all 5 or nothing. |
