start to finish......outbid on 3-4 lots and won the lot of Louisville Colonels panoramic photos from 1939 (w/Pee Wee Reese) and 1940. I think a lot of stuff went below what I would have considered wholesale/retail. Some stuff, however, was very strong. The Callahan autographed cards and the white HOF plaques were particularly strong. Guess the difficult ones, coupled with the quality of the lot, single owner and some other factors conspired to keep them up there. The cards were generally sluggish I thought. |
