Default Where was Joe Jax those early years (1908-10) ?

Posted By: Rhys

I have some newspaper articles which talk about Joe Jackson leaving the Athletics without permission because he was homesick for his new bride and how he has blacklisted himself etc. I dont think Connie Mack sent him anywhere, I think he just went and was allowed back because he was such an enormous talent. The articles talk about how he could not stand the north and missed his wife so badly that he just could not handle it.
