eBay requests to end auction early

That is the way of eBay very slow at first and the last day is when everything starts moving. Especially the last hour and even the last minute. Just feel safe knowing that these people want what you have and they will be bidding for it at the end. Stay the course and you will end up with a lot more then if you sell early.
