Default Patterns in the T209 II Set

Here is some information from a long-time T209 collector:

"The majority of the Goldsboro team player photos that I have are captured with an interesting baseball stadium background. I do have three baseball player portraits from that team. ... Handiboe, Merchant and Morgan."



It is interesting that perhaps only three portraits of Goldsboro players are found and a majority of photos were taken with the stadium background. Perhaps the portrait players joined the team later in the season? Or, since it appears that the T209 action photos may have been taken in rapid succession. . . It may be that those three players didn't arrive early enough prior to the game to make the initial photo shoot? It certainly is fun to speculate. Thanks to all who have posted scans. Zach, those Greenville players look great all lined up.
