Lee, I agree that having yes men responding with smiley faces just in a desperate attempt to be loved is enough to turn one's stomach. But as much as I enjoy the contrarian positions taken by some, I also can't help but notice that the same strong moral code that caused the contrarian positions was nowhere to be found when Elkins was talking about torturing animals for his own pleasure. And the silence was due solely to the fact that Elkins was a comrade in arms. Kind of lame, at least in my mind. |
