Got a lot of good card store and antique shop pre-war items in the 60s, but they were not so much deals as they were the going price, or less, at that time. However, one that sticks out is the display for the machine that dispensed 1921 Exhibits. Cost me $5 . It's not in such good shape these days, but here's a scan of the top banner and most of the top two rows. It is actually 4 cards across and 4 cards down. At the bottom (not shown) would be mention that they cost 1 cent each. There's about 6-8 HOFers on it. Blank space is Sisler, which I still have. |
