Can someone provide me with a "beginner's guide" to the National?

Peter C., I think what you are missing (among other things, perhaps) is that speculation about the Wagner being sheet cut/trimmed/both has been rampant for many many years. If Mr. Mastro had come out and said, "I trimmed it and PSA graded it anyway," or Mr. Lifson had come out and said "I have first hand knowledge it's trimmed," or PSA had admitted it knowingly slabbed a trimmed card, that might have some broader impact. But obviously none of those things happened. So I don't really know why you would think this would have any effect.
