CUBANS ARE CUBANS

St. Peter came to the Lord and said, "I have to talk to you."

"We have some Cubans up here who are causing problems.
My flute is missing, mojo sauce is all over the place, they are making guayaberas from their robes, they have domino tables in the cafeteria, and they're wearing baseball caps instead of halos."

"They refuse to stop making Cuban coffee on the
heaven's stairs and some of them are walking around with just one wing."

The Lord said, "Cubans are Cubans, Peter. Heaven is home to all my children. If you want to know about real problems, ask the Devil."

Peter calls - the Devil answers the phone "Hello?
Damn, hold on a minute."

The Devil returns to the phone, "O.K., I'm back. What can I do for you?"

Peter replies "I just want to know what kind of
problems you're having down there."

The Devil again says "Hold on, Hold on........"

The Devil comes back to the phone ....."Man, I don't believe this.....Hold on."

This time the Devil is gone 15 minutes! The Devil returns and says: "I'm sorry Peter, I can't talk right now. Those damn Cubans have put out the fire and are trying to install air conditioning"

I remember after my grandfather had his stroke, he just didn't make any sense any longer. It was real sad. I always had hopes that he would revert back to my grandfather that he used to be, but it never happened.

That sounds like a real knock against their culinary skills.

And is it me, or doesn't anyone else find it difficult to believe that St. Peter would wait on hold for anyone for 15 minutes, let alone, Lucifer? Or that he even felt comfortable at all on a phone to begin with, what with the invention not being introduced for several thousand years past his passing?

Leon is restricted to the sense of humor within his own county....

In that county ... they laugh at the same joke ... by the same people ... with an identical twin mind set.

It is conceivably possible, but not probable, that anyone leaving the borders of that county, might find themselves feeling uneasy, and in a foreign county.

Now let's take that a step further.

I do know your sense of humor ..........

You keep forgetting that I was born in the biggest Melting Pot in the world.

For sixty years I was blessed with the privledge of living among every possible religion, (and I'm an atheist) color, creed, and every possible politics created by man.

As for religion, every religious sect predates modern politics ... it is the original politics.

Some one mentioned that I was putting down Cuban food. ... Hell no.

I can tell that that person was not from a diversified area.
Again, this atheist will say that he was blessed with the opportunity to taste all the foods of the world within the Island of Manhattan.

As a child, I not only ate rice and beans, but I was also exposed to Borsht, Italian food, Chitlins, Greek food, Chinese food, Puerto Rican food, Cuban food, Lithuanian food, Russian food, and even grub from West Virginia.
I'm sure I'm leaving some out, and I apologize for that.

Those eats were not at restaurants, they were at the parents home of my high school football teammates of the late 1940's.
In 1949, not only did we have the only Chinese backfield man playing NYC H. S. football, but we also had among our NYC black teammates, a black southerner, playing along side a transferee white from West Virginia ... Ernie Williams W-VA, a great guy, I hope they're both well.

We were surrounded by all kinds of diversity.
Religions.
Politics.
Foods.
Everything under the sun.
We had the opportunity to study the differences, and make our own choices ... whether the choice was good or bad ... you can count on one thing ... you're not going to find too many Programmed Party Parrots.

We Were Indeed Blessed!

I feel for those that did NOT have the benefit of that experience.

Don't mind this guy.........he just got ahold of a bad pepper. His athiest ways explain his anger for being born. The best way to handle a pest like this knat is to just ignore him and eventually he will go away. The ole knickname "Joe Blow" should fit this idiot very well. Joe I am praying for you as I type.

I'm not much liking your exceptionally intolerant rant Jason. There's not much Christ in you obviously.
There's plenty to find inappropriate about Joe outside his religious beliefs or lack there of. The whole witch burning thing went out a couple hundred years ago.
