If you saw this card at auction, you would say I got to have it. Upon seeing the card you start salivating. Although you normally have an auction budget, for this card you are willing to blow the budget. For me it would be the #1 Ramly Walter Johnson in EX-Nrmt. What is your card. |

Not a card, but it would be a 1904 or 1906 W601 Sporting Life Supplement Buffalo team composite. Haven't seen one offered in years. |

As a diversion, I would refer the Board back to a previous post of mine which dealt more with general collecting habits and a curiousity regarding Mr. Carter's collection. |

Like the above poster i would overpay to have an E222, but one hasnt been offered for sale in so long you could hardly say whatever it sold for, no matter how much, would be overpaying, just todays market value. No one would pay more then marketvalue for a T206 wagner or cobb/cobb back? |

None at the moment. I was lucky enough to make some key acquisitions at "normal" prices the last 6 months and to have been given the biggest key by a 54er, David McDonald. |

The eBay lot with the AWH caramels sold a little over $12K. Best T206 of the bunch was a green Cobb with back damage. I believe 2 of the AWH's were SGC 10 and the other 2 were 20's. If I remember correctly, the AWH lot had all of the known back variations. |

The E222 lot sold for just over 12k. Davin Levin was the winner, another board member was the runner-up, and I was the third under bidder at 8.5k. The players were Guiheen, Otey, Sieber, and Smith. David had the four on display at the National and they were beautiful, despite their lower grades. The four are no longer available as they all four went to a single buyer who i'm sure will hold onto them for a while. |
