I'm pretty much like you. I've been lucky in that I've never had to trade or sell a card I really wanted. Also, I try to never give up anything really rare. I once traded a '53 Topps Satchel Paige that had pencil marks in the background for a '58 Ted Williams in excellent condition. I also threw in some money.
Although that was my only '53 Topps Satchel Paige, I knew that it was not rare in that condition and that I could find another in any of the big shows that took place in the Bay Area. However, what I would really like to find is a '53 Topps Satchel Paige in Nrmt. condition. Sometimes condition makes all the difference in the world.
I suppose if I missed any card, it would be an autographed '57 Topps Willie Mays card I had about 20 years ago.
